To decide between the two , I would say Bow Glacier Falls. The scenery is all around you and ever changing. I took a ton of photos whereas the hike up to the Bow Summit Lookout is spectacular at the view point, but, there is a point where you follow an old logging road or something, and basically walk through trees. Both are really close in proximity though and both beautiful.
My husband is 85 and I am 81. He walks with a cane and rather slow. Can we hike on that trail. And if not, what can we do in about 4 hours of an afternoon? .

I would suggest just walking partly around the lake, not the entire trail. The first part is fairly flat and beautiful maybe 1/2-1 mile in. Take your pictures and turn around. It's worth it. It …
