It was a nice day trip. The conservation officers were knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. $20 to get into the park was worth it. ArlinF的完整评论

The caves were full of history. The ride to the caves was fantastic as you can see some of Aruba that has been undisturbed. Burl H的完整评论

It was an amazing cave experience! You can go on your own or with a guide! Also there are some park rangers that can tell a bit of the story CRTravelingTours的完整评论
Do they allow infants and children? We are thinking of bringing our one year old in a pack on our back. Thoughts?

Yes, I met a couple from England with a nfant and a small child entering the cave as I was leaving. They were asking me about the distance to the back.
My husband and I are interested in traveling through Arikok on our own versus doing a guided tour. This is also our 1st visit, so the question is will we be able to hike around Arikok and see the sites as we are preferring or is it highly advised to take a tour around the park. We just prefer not to do a tour so we can spend the amount of time we want at each site versus being told when and where and how long we should stay etc. (We are in our early 30s and in decent shape

We did a combination of seeing the park on our own and part tour. The caves are accessible to drive to in a regular rental car and they are only about 15 minutes apart. We did not see anyone hiking to the caves. Everyone arrived either on their own rental car or by tour. The other side of the park where the natural pool is located is where we opted to take a UTV tour. Terrain is really rough even with a 4X4 vehicle. We did see a few people hiking to the natural pool but I heard it is about an hour hike. I personally would not hike around the park as it is very hot, no shade anywhere, and you need to be sure you carry a lot of water and sunscreen. Plus you will also have to deal with all the tours passing you by and all the dust.
I had rented a 4x4 but saw many people arriving by car. you can get to the cave by car as long as you stay on the designated route, and drive with caution along the way.
