PS Plus is Sony’s monthly membership program that grants access to online gaming. You don’t need it for streaming movies or TV shows on Netflix and other services, or for free-to-play games like Warzone or Fortnite. Any paid online games, however, require a subscription.

The inclusion of the recent Dragon Age: The Veilguard is an interesting choice, possibly spurred by the game falling short of EA’s sales projections and leading to mass layoffs within its developer BioWare, leaving the company with under 100 employees to develop the next Mass Effect.

ORIGINAL: PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the free PS4 and PS5 games for March 2025. The next wave of PS Plus Essentials will be officially revealed by Sony at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of February 26.
