Westlake will be practicing on Thanksgiving for the 10th straight year after defeating San Antonio Brennan in the Class 6A Division I playoffs

Westlake topped SA Brennan 24-7 at Burger Stadium in Austin, but many of the Central Texas teams that played Friday ended up on the wrong end of a postseason game and now their seasons are over.

The third round of the playoffs will resume Friday, and some familiar teams are still battling. Here's one note: If Westlake and Lake Travis prevail this week, they will face each other for the second straight year in the state quarterfinals the next week.
