USC stepped into the No. 1 seed line, bumping South Carolina down to a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division I Women's B Committee's second Top 16 reveal released on Thursday. The Gamecocks (25-3, 15-1 SEC) dropped a seed line following their blowout loss to UConn earlier this month.
UCLA is still the top overall seed, but there's movement below in latest projections. Texas, USC and Notre Dame also projected to be No. 1 seeds.
