A cat trying to attack people in Prince William County has tested positive for rabies. The cat was going after people near the Jiffy Lube Multicare in Fraley Boulevard in Dumfries between Feb.

The attack happened just steps from Greg Slaughter’s home near Mayo Lake. Slaughter said he suffered bites, scrapes and claw marks.
