A man has died during a caving expedition in North Yorkshire, rescuers said. The man was among a group of cavers exploring Diccan Pot, near Horton in Ribblesdale, on Sunday, when he died.

A 20-year-old man was rescued from Pollthanarees cave on the Marlbank by volunteers from the Irish Cave Rescue Organisation (ICRO).
