Daniel Radcliffe just can't escape the superhero movie rumor mill. DC Studios boss James Gunn debunked rumors that the Harry Potter alum is in consideration to play Clayface in the upcoming DC movie of the same name.

James Gunn took to social media to shoot down a wild rumor that Daniel Radcliffe is officially joining the DCU as a famed Batman villain.

Safran has characterized the “Clayface” movie as a “body horror film.” Gunn previously said DC Studios hopes the movie “works as a pure horror movie for somebody who doesn’t care at all about DC.” Warner Bros. has dated “Clayface” for release on Sept. 11, 2026.
