Armed robber fatally shot by donut shop worker in Clinton Township
A man who police say attempted to commit armed robbery of a Clinton Township, Michigan, donut shop and was shot by a store employee has died, officials said.

An employee then allegedly produced a firearm and discharged a shot, "which is believed to have struck the suspect," the release stated. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, which was located by detectives a short distance from the doughnut shop. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.
