Xiaomi and Qualcomm unveil the affordable Redmi A4 5G, marking a milestone in accessible 5G technology for Indian consumers.

Touted as one of the most budget-friendly 5G smartphones in India, the Redmi A4 5Gs price is set to fall in the countrys sub-10K segment.

Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the pricing of the Redmi A4 5G smartphone. However, the company has confirmed that it will be priced below Rs 10,000. Availability and sale details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi A4 5G, India's first smartphone with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip, at the ongoing Indian Mobile Congress. The device will be priced under Rs 10,000.

The device will aid India’s transition to the fifth-generation (5G) technology, ensuring optimised power efficiency, faster connectivity, and an enhanced user experience, the chipmaker said.

Xiaomi has completed 10 years in India. On this occasion, the company has introduced this cheap 5G smartphone on the lines of '5G for Everyone'. The company has set a target of selling 70 crore mobile devices in India in the next 10 years.

Both Xiaomi and Qualcomm are marketing the Redmi A4 5G as a smartphone that is ‘designed with the Indian market in mind.’
