The Bengaluru Police has arrested the accused Aarav Anay in the case of Assam girl Maya Gogoi's murder at a service apartment in Bengaluru. According to the DCP East, he was arrested by police outside Karnataka.

The probe in the murder of a vlogger from Assam allegedly by her paramour, has revealed that the killer spent two days with the corpse of Maya Gogoi, at a service apartment in Bengaluru, police sources said on Wednesday.

The murder is reported to have taken place on Sunday midnight in the service apartment where Maya and Aarav had checked in.

A 22-year-old vlogger and company employee, Maya Gogoi, was found murdered in an Indiranagar hotel room. Police suspect her friend, Arnav Harnoy, stabbed her on Monday and fled Tuesday morning. CCTV footage captured Harnoy leaving the hotel and boarding a cab.

Preliminary investigations suggest premeditation. “Hanoy brought a knife in his bag and he also ordered a rope to hotel through Zepto,” told Bengaluru Police.

The police found the decomposed body of the woman in the service apartment that she booked with her boyfriend on 23 November.

A man in Bengaluru allegedly stabbed his lover to death in a service apartment. He spent a day with her body before fleeing. Police are investigating the crime and searching for the accused, who was seen on CCTV entering the apartment with the victim.

Tragically, just three days later, her body was discovered in the same apartment. Police have identified her boyfriend as the prime suspect in her murder.
