Police were forced to shoot two XL bully dogs 19 times to put an end to a vicious attack on a pensioner. A 29-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to the incident at 6.40pm on Monday after an 84-year-old man was attacked by a dog while he was walking in Bardsley Avenue, Warrington.
Police train more handlers to enforce XL bully ban
Kent Police said they have had to train two more dog handlers to enforce the XL bully dog ban. Chief Constable Tim Smith warned the ban could also cost the force more than £1m to house the seized dogs.
