Microsoft is stepping up its campaign to transition users from Windows 10 to Windows 11. If you happen to not have an upgrade available for Windows 11, the tech giant is now employing fullscreen prompts encouraging you to please consider buying one of all the new Windows 11 PCs that are currently being sold.

Windows 10 is going end of support next year and Microsoft is now trying to convince people to buy Copilot Plus PCs.

Microsoft ramps up its Windows 11 push with full-screen ads for Copilot+ PCs as Windows 10 support nears end. Microsoft has launched a new campaign to encourage Windows 10 users to upgrade that highlights Copilot+ PCs. The push comes as the guaranteed security updates for Windows 10 are set to stop on Oct. 14, 2025, less than a year from now.

While users still have less than a year before the end of support date for Windows 10 slated this October 2025, Microsoft wants users to upgrade to either the Windows 11 computers or Copilot Plus PCs that offer the 'ultimate' Windows 11 experience.

Microsoft wants to be done with Windows 10 and have everyone move to Windows 11. It’s given the nine-year-old operating system an official expiration date next year, and it’s not shy about leaving those users behind.

Never mind ESU... how about that upgrade? Microsoft is encouraging Windows 10 users to move to Windows 11 with more full-screen ads in the doomed operating system that urge users to buy a new Windows 11 PC.
