With the calendar flipping over to August, there’s a slight chance of thunderstorms on the North Coast on Friday and Saturday nights with mostly high 50s and mid 60s around the coast this weekend.

If thunderstorms do strike in Humboldt County, it'll be along the interior parts of the county, like Willow Creek or Garberville, with both areas expected to reach the 80s throughout the weekend.
