Most of the planetary alignment, which is colloquially referred to as a planet parade, will be visible to the naked eye just after sunset Friday, according to Preston Dyches, writer and producer of NASA’s monthly sky-watching video series, “What’s Up.”

A rare planetary alignment is going to happen on Friday night. In this alignment, all seven plants will appear in a line across the sky.

This phenomenon known as a "planet parade," will feature Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all present at the same time along a line in the night sky on Friday, NASA says.
