AS says Barca and Palmeiras are waiting on news from FIFA after they were blocked from selling Roque by LaLiga and RFEF. Roque, on-loan at Real Betis for the season, is the subject of a €25m offer from Palmeiras - which has been accepted by Barca.

The Brazilian forward will remain at Betis until the end of the season, at which point he will return to FC Barcelona.

Vitor Roque's transfer from Barcelona to Palmeiras is set to fall through due to the Royal Spanish Football Federation's [RFEF] regulations which prevent Real Betis cutting his loan short, various sources have told ESPN.

Roque joined Barcelona in January 2024 in a transfer worth €30million (£26m; $33m) in fixed fees, plus €31m more in add-ons.

Barcelona’s hopes of selling Vitor Roque to Palmeiras before the transfer window in Brazil closes at the end of the month look to be fading. According to multiple reports, a deal is looking very complicated and Palmeiras are ready to call the whole thing off.
