Super Micro Computer soared Monday after a special committee's review found no evidence of misconduct. EY had resigned as auditor in October.

Super Micro Computer’s, shares jumped on Monday after it got good news from an internal investigation into its accounts.The probe into why its auditor quit, forcing it to delay earnings, found no evidence of fraud or misconduct.

The investigation took over three months and did find some lapses in processes. As part of the investigating committee’s recommendations, Super Micro will appoint a new chief financial officer, chief compliance officer and general counsel, and has named Kenneth Cheung, previously the vice president of finance, as its new chief accounting officer.
