2020年11月23日 · It has become quite difficult to obtain 100% Nitromethane due to Federal restrictions on the sale and storage, making it not a viable (profitable) commodity for small shops. The good news is you can buy 50-50 (50% Nitro-50% Methanol) in sealed 5 gallon cans from any dealer who sells VP Race Fuel products (So Cal Race Fuels if you're in So Cal).

2010年11月6日 · When they got to the distributor, he told them that the guy had bought Zen-Max fuel in 5 gallons plastic containers (they showed some clear plastic 5 gallon jugs with what looked like green detergent in them). The officer is reading the label on the "fuel" and says, this stuff is 99% nitromethane. The distributor says, yea, that's pretty standard.

2024年12月4日 · Nitromethane is just one of a family of chemicals called "nitroparaffins." Others are nitroethane and 1-nitropropane and 2-nitropropane. Nitroethane can be used successfully in small quantities. (Top fuel drag racers, which generally run on straight nitromethane, sometimes add a little in hot, humid weather to prevent detonation.)

2020年6月7日 · Hey guys, just wondering if you might be able to shed some light on my recent find. I recently noticed that my fuel had changed colour from pink to grey, and upon closer inspection, I'd noticed that my clunk (sintered brass) had completely corroded down to a nub! the whole bottom of the fuel drum was covered in black brass particles.

3 天之前 · 5% Nitromethane 1 % detergent (Lubricin N-1) 1% Ignitors (Propylene Oxide) Fox used a combination of synthetic (Klotz) and castor in "Dukes Fuel" and others up until they went out of the fuel business a couple years ago. They may have produced some Superfuel with an oil blend but we never saw any of it.
