Looking to upgrade the motor to a 2 hp since my current motor is malfunctioning. Just wanted some recommendations for motor size, RPM, frame size.

The PM 12x36 has some nice features that the Enco doesn't have like a foot brake, coolant system, work light, enclosed feed gear box (much quieter then Enco’s open style) and a nice guard over the chuck. The PM lathe also comes with more accessories like a drill chuck and live center.

2018年3月26日 · Nice pictures of getting the lathe home. Your ENCO looks almost identical to my Grizzly. My Grizzly has a 2 step pulley on the motor so in theory I can get about the same speeds as yours. Changing the motor pulley belt at the motor is a pain, so I normally leave this in the "A" position and use the lower 3 speeds.
