Matmata (Arabic: مطماطة maṭmāṭa ⓘ; Berber: ⵎⴰⵜⵎⴰⵜⴰ) is a small Berber speaking town in southern Tunisia. Some of the local Berber residents live in traditional underground " troglodyte " structures.
