2017年9月13日 · I have 8 VMs set up in Hyper-V. I usually run 2-4 at one time. They are different versions of Windows (7,8,10) and one Linux. When I try to shut them down or restart them (from within the guest OS), they succeed about 75% of the time. However, the other 25% of the time, Hyper-V shows their status as "stopping" and never moves from this state.

I have 2 WFE, 1 App Server with Central Admin and 1 Database Server. This was in place when I arrived on job. Looking at Microsofts recommendations the "Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application" Service should only be running on WFE. However I found it running on App Server. I shut this down and literally hanging on the STOPPING state.

2014年7月24日 · For grins, you could try stopping those utilities just to see what happens. I haven't tried it, but if you make your page file smaller, that might make the paged number smaller, too. On Hyper-V systems, I tend to limit my page file …
