2024年11月26日 · Up until 2018, I refused to give up my EASY TO USE Flip Phone. Then in 2018, my daughter bought an Android insisting SHE NEEDED to know I was okay in Virginia. She lives in Florida. I also got ADDED to her phone plan. NO more pre-paid plans. Here it is 2024, still hanging onto my OLD Android but the State of Virginia did provide a NEW one in 2022.

Instead of using an old technology like sending codes through phone lines, the AARP should use more modern ways of verifying our identity, like a code generated by an Authenticator app, for example, or a passkey. Anyway, I don't understand why the AARP site should be protected like a bank.
