By focusing on both church and the individual, the Lay Ministry Training Program enables effective lay ministry that is distinctly Congregational. The Lay Ministry Training Program is broken into three levels with each level lasting one year, composed of ten learning sessions.
Certification for Ecclesial Ministry and Service (Legacy)
We review and approve certification standards, competencies, and procedures, primarily for specialized ministry leadership roles in the Church for lay ecclesial ministers, but also for some priests and deacons, including hospital and health care pastoral ministers.
