2020年11月23日 · Fwiw, I had a very decent experience with Amazon. My pixel 3a xl had charge port issues during the last week of my warranty. Google told me to talk to Amazon, during the first chat convo with Amazon they agreed to do a full refund minus an 85% restocking fee. I essentially traded my phone in at 85% of its value and bought the P5.

2020年11月4日 · Recently I upgraded to the Pixel 5 and transferred all my non-amazon music over to the new phone. For some reason, the Amazon app isn't locating the non-amazon music files ( these files are not proctected in anyway with DRM). I've tried other music players and they locate the music files just fine.

(Sold by Amazon).And if I don't like the standby battery life (if it doesn't feel like an upgrade vs Pixel 5 when it was new) I'll return it in a week or two. Off topic I'm also recently considering getting a PS5 to play some playstation exclusive games and I think I'll end up allocating this year's electronic budget on that.

In my opinion, pixel 5 is actually better than pixel 6. Hear me out. I get that the chip is slower on pixel 5, but stock android is so clean and light the pixel 5 runs it perfectly. The symmetrical thin bezels on the pixel 5 make it look better (IMO) than the pixel 6 with a slightly thicker chin. I also like that pixel 5 is more compact in hand.

I currently have a Pixel 7. The battery life is starting to get worse and I am thinking about downgrading to a Pixel 5 rather than getting a newer pixel or a new battery. I had a 4a for a while and loved that phone. I miss its form factor and the reliability of its battery. I wish I had just gotten a Pixel 5 at the time and not upgraded.

Pixel 8 rocks a 50 MP main camera compared to Pixel 5's 12.2 MP. Selfie cam also gets a bump from 8 MP to 10.5 MP. Both do 4K UHD, but Pixel 8 should give you sharper, more detailed shots . Battery Life: Pixel 8 wins with a 4,575 mAh battery over Pixel 5's 4,080 mAh. Plus, it charges faster with 27 W cable charging (Pixel 5 has 18 W).

I enjoyed Pixel 2 and the 5.But I didn't enjoy Pixel 4. Pixel 5 is very good. I think I'll keep it as daily driver for a few more years. (given that the current pixels are huge). Only things I dislike from the Pixel 5 are the ambient light sensor (useless between low light scenarios), the top earpiece and the haptic feedback.

I don't need the best per se, but I also don't want the wireless equivalent of those packs of cord chargers for $12 that don't work well, heat up a lot, & stop working entirely within a few months 😜.

So I bought a used Pixel 5 back in December. It's a wonderful phone. Only problem was the battery life sucked. Sub 75% battery life left. I finally got fed up with charging multiple times a day so I decided to to grab the iFixit kit for 65 USD. Now I'm a pretty techy person but I was absolutely terrified of bricking my phone.
