If Painter does not appear in the list by default press the Add button to locate the installed software; Select the high performance NVIDIA processor as the option for preferred graphics program for Painter . May 11, 2023 · The Tiles can't be merged together inside Substance 3D Painter, this has to be set up when you create the project. A Texture set is defined by a Material ID. Each time Substance 3D Painter finds a new Material ID, it will create a new texture set. If Substance Painter creates 4 texture sets, most likely the mesh has 4 different Material ID.

May 25, 2023 · Unfortunately, you can't subdivide the mesh inside Substance 3D Painter. You'll have to export from C4D the mesh with the desired subdivision. With that being said, as long as the UVs are the same between your subdivisions, the textures made inside Substance Painter should work on all the subdivision's levels of the mesh. Best regards,

Dec 2, 2024 · Substance 3D Painter creates a Texture Set each time it finds a new material on the imported mesh. In your case, the mesh had 6 different materials (body, brows, eyes, face, hair nose) , so you have now 6 different Texture Sets.
