
Difference between "assist in" and "assist with"
He assisted at the editing of the movie. Is "assist in" the same as "assist with"? Can I always substitute the one where the other is used, or is there a difference in meaning? (I think "assist at" refers to a place where a person is assisting, as in "He assisted at the place where the editing was taking place".)

2017年6月29日 · @Rache Perhaps, bu I think of these as "service industry" jobs rather than working "in service" -- which is a somewhat archaic but more dignified term for "professional domestic" type of jobs that require a somewhat different skill set, because they work with a specific household and not the public at large.
