2006年1月29日 · Slightly off topic, but in the same vein, so I hope it won't qualify as a thread hi-jack. When reloading for semi-auto, one is meant to use magnum rifle primers or CCI 34/41, however, I don't recall ever having seen on standard .308 or .223 commercial hunting loads a disclaimer to say 'not to be use in semi-autos'.

2021年12月22日 · I’m seeing 60-80 fps increase in velocity when using Federal 205M vs CCI BR4 or 450. My current .223 load shoots very accurately and consistently but now worried I may be pushing pressures. 23.4 grains of 8208 under 80 ELDm. 24” barrel bolt gun. Lapua brass and federal 205M primer.

2018年10月26日 · I used the CCI Quiets on roosters and wasn’t impressed. A bit happier on results with the CCI Segmented. Shot through a 10-22 takedown rifle, EoTech sight or ir laser, suppressed and PVS-14. Anywhere from 20 feet to 25 yards. Body shots, center mass.

2007年8月23日 · I found a very accurate entry in cci trigger at 4H. Its call cci 5034. this means when cci 50 cross 0 line, the price cross ema 34 in same direction. I try to figure out how to exit it. I try to use MACD cross, trendline break, and even i pull out ema 68,136,272 as exit strategy. does anyone have better idea about exit strategy in cci 5034 trigger?

2021年10月7日 · Why wouldn’t they? Ive used standard large rifle primers in 300 WM loads and they worked just fine. The 34’s have a thicker cup to mitigate the risk of slam fires in semi autos (specificly the M14).

2013年9月18日 · Pretty simple, the CCI SV is a cut above the bulk stuff, a cut below Wolf MT (which in turn is a cut below Wolf ME, which is a cut below the good Eley stuff ... so on and so forth). You do pay for what you get, but for what you pay (or used to pay) for the CCI SV, you get a pretty good bit. My savage MKII loves CCI SV.

Since BR-4's are non-existent I thought I would give them a try in my 6 ARC (Uintah bolt action) that has yet to arrive. To my surprise they are considered magnum primers...

2020年12月3日 · Jason Vanderbrink, the President of CCI just released a video on YouTube. To summarize, all production of CCI/Federal and Remington primers is going to ammo. 100%! They only sell excess production of primers to reloaders. Therefore reloaders are SOL since there is no longer excess production. Their ammo backlog is well over a year.
