2024年8月29日 · I’m dx’d with multiple autoimmune diseases and maybe a paranroplastic syndrome. Lots of trouble getting care but hopefully on the right track to stabilize for some surgery. This med is being suggested in lieu of IVIG which Medicare wouldn’t cover. Would love to hear about any first hand experiences with CellCept.

2014年3月25日 · I was wondering how long one should stay on cellcept? I finished a year of cytoxan iv in August of 2012 and started taking cellcept in Sept 2012. At my last specialist visit, my doctor mentioned that he would like me to discontinue the cellcept soon. I am reluctant, as I have been doing well and I've been stable with no adverse side effects so far.

2024年7月31日 · I took CellCept for organizing pneumonia caused by Covid last year. I had to stop all of my immunosuppressant medications for RA when I was diagnosed with Covid pneumonia. The CellCept controlled my RA symptoms pretty well while I was on it. I did have to take a prophylactic antibiotic with the medication due to increased risk for infection.

2012年2月22日 · I abruptly stop taking CellCept whenever I feel a fever or illness coming on. I also stop it if I have a planned surgical procedure coming up. I take 2000mg / day. My doctors assured me it is okay to just stop taking CellCept. In fact, at one point I switched from CellCept to Methotrexate, and made that switch immediately with no side effects.

2020年8月8日 · The cellcept is to block the production of white blood cells (WBC) that see my new organs as 'invader' and try to destroy them. I am scheduled for routine labs to monitor my liver and kidney and my overall reaction to the medicine(s).

2024年4月30日 · I stopped taking the cellcept after my first surgery to correct the blood flow issue and was getting ready to go back on in late December when the blood flow issue came back, causing an amputation of my left index finger. I was off the cellcept for 6 months and now as a result have been diagnosed with interstitial lung disease.

2011年6月8日 · I have read after words that Cellcept should be taken for at least 2 years in order to minimize the risk of relapse.That was a research done for Lupus. In Scleroderma there is no research done about the relapse except the patients experiences. Maybe for some patients the Cellcept worked after the relapse but it didn' t work for me.

I should mention that it has been suggested that he has Scleroderma Sine Scleroderma and also has some gastroentestinal issues (hence the azulfadine) and renal involvement.

2013年12月20日 · I was on Cellcept for about a year. The Pulmonologist told me that in a very small percentage of ILD/Pulmonary Fibrosis patients that the Cellcept actually reduced fibrosis. In a larger group it slowed down the formation of fibrosis. He indicated that it takes 6 to 9 months to begin to see the effects. It is a strong immunosuppresant.

2017年2月27日 · I had diffuse scleroderma fo 3 years . I am in Cellcept 3,000 mg per day for more that 2 years. In 2016 I had a polymiositis overlap sindrome and thanks to Prednisone I recovery.
