2021年8月9日 · I have a completed animation I have made entirely in Blender. I want to import the entire animation to Cinema4D so I can render it using C4D/Redshift. How would I do this? Do I need to create an FBX file or do anything else special? Would love to know! Thank you :).

2023年7月10日 · My personal evaluation is: Blender does not have hierachy morphing like C4D (which is awesome for hand animation), blender's hai system cannot transfer hair systems from one character to the next when topology is different, while C4D just interpolates which saves countless hours.

2024年3月4日 · Adding whole root to Add Motion Clip and and baked the animation - but it deforms the character. Cappucino doesn't seem to record already animated character rig NitroBake3 didn't bake the animation either. Using newest 2024.2.0 Cinema4D build. 2023年5月29日 · The difference in quality traditionally has been huge ( getting less so with modern engines). The amazing looking ones are rendered in a software like c4d/blender. Most game companies use Maya/ 3ds max. And I would say that if you wanna do character animation then they are king. C4d is a bit clunky when it comes to animating characters.

2021年5月12日 · Is that normal because the alembic itself has a time offset feature which might "block" the time offset of effectors? It does also not work with the time effector or any other effectors that should work with the time remap. If I put the animation (from mixamo) into the cloner that is not an alembic everything works with the time remapping.

Blender is used for small scale animation studios (some Spanish studios who deliver Netflix animation ie) and tons and tons of hobbyists. In the industry I don’t think its used outside of modelling.

2022年2月1日 · And in terms of exporting for the animation section I've tried all the options, transform, morph set to PLA or Pose Morph or None, Skin checked or not, and Bake Animation checked or not. All give the same result just a static image of the start frame. It plays back inside of cinema in the timeline and pingpongs on a specific frame I've chosen.
