For an "active" player (someone clicking all the time), cursor upgrades take a higher priority. Also, if you get a lucky golden cookie, it may be in your best interest to buy a higher priced item that normally you'd have to wait for.

2019年11月10日 · If you have a +5% cookie upgrade vs a +1% building, but the upgrade is 10 times more expensive - then it's the building. But after you buy 5 of those buildings they become twice as expensive, so then you get the upgrade. There are a lot of calculators, or you can write your own spreadsheet to get some brain exercise :-)

2021年11月4日 · Until now, I've bought buildings based on how cheap they were, but I discovered other methods that made you gain cookies faster. I can't use mods like Cookie monster because they aren't officially supported yet (I'm on steam), and I know you can calculate the ROI of each building, but I don't know the exact formula and tbh, math hurts my head lol.

2013年9月4日 · Did a bit of calculations, and I figured out the ideal ratios for building purchases (i.e. the ratios where marginal utility/marginal cost is equivalent for all buildings). This assumes all upgrades except the new 99T cookies (snickerdoodles, etc.).
