2007年1月14日 · Ok thanks for the reply. I will probably just go ahead with my original decision and get a Rega Fono mm mk3 then since there is a lot of good reviews about it. Unless anybody else has any suggestions? On offer for £180 now compared to £220 for the mk5.

2023年11月19日 · My fono MM was a revelation and no number of adjectives used for other phono stages will convince me that it isn't the one that would always give me the most pleasure listening to music (in fact the review of the Spartan above actually put me off 'full, warm...' but nothing about detail, attack just too many adjectives that were contradictory ...

2012年3月13日 · My experience with Phono stages are I had Yamaha a-s801 and its phono stage is the weakest link of that amp. I have a Schiit Mani, I auditioned Rega Fono mm mk3 and recently I have been introduced to Yamaha a-s 2100's mm phono stage. Comparing those; Mani is brighter than Rega Fono and the singer's voice is always a bit behind the veil.

2019年6月3日 · I recently got a Rega Planar 1 and Rega Fono Mini A2D Mk 2, which are connected to a NAD C326BEE. The amp is silent when connected to all devices (NAD CD player, Tuner, Bluetooth receiver), but gives out a hum when connected to the Rega devices. Turning off the power on the mains switch on the Rega Planar doesn't solve the problem.

2005年10月18日 · Why wasn't the magic box 'Rega Fono MM' considered? It retails at 260 euros so shouldn't be much over 200 quid and gives excellent results. I just bought one with my new amp, that didn't come with a phono stage, tested it with my old amp and it was fantastic. Great sound stage and every note and beat is breathed with amazing clarity and timing.
