2013年6月3日 · That is what is known as a chalybeate stream/spring, and yes, it is a good indicator of iron nearby. That sludge is actually the precursor of bog ore. Often, but not always, the parent ore is a sulfide. The bacteria digest the sulfur and excrete iron oxide. This is a good thing, since you cannot get good iron from sulfide ores.
