He was definitely in an "edgy" phase -- likely influenced by his own personal turmoil and trauma at the time -- and was especially doubling down on the dark and disturbing stuff because that's what was getting the most attention.

The whole manga demonizes it and it’s never shown in a good light. Not trying to defend him, just trying to give context! As for Kairiki Bear, I actually haven’t heard those exact claims before.

2023年4月17日 · I've done an ‘Artist Research’ on Si_Ku for my art class recently, I did a whole 2-page spread and to sum it up, she mostly uses physical mediums, specifically jelly gouache. She uses lots of coloured pencils and markers as well, however, her more noticeable works, such as recent album covers for Kikuo are done only in Jelly Gouache paint.
