2023年1月19日 · There are a whole lot of (IMHO, very confused) people who think that a Larue Rifle should have a Larue Barrel, and don't trust any other barrel manufacturer. Same goes for the PredatOBR. The only other threaded barrel I had to compare the LaRue barrels to was the AI barrel (Desert Tech and MRAD having proprietary extensions, of course).

2022年3月16日 · Larue never sold the LT622 / 622SDO-A / 799 publically directly, only the LT100. The LT799 comes bundled with one of the ACOG models (forget which), and the LT622 only went to the military (marines?).

2020年5月31日 · The LaRue stealth 2.0 upper and handguard are fantastic with a true free floating design his barrels are just shit though, and I'm sure the BCG is just fine. And you could use the gas block and just pick up a rifle length tube. You could also take the 16" LaRue barrel have have it cut down to a 13.5" and use it for a pistol setup.

2024年12月13日 · A little Dremel work on the back pocket and it fit my AP5-P like a glove. LaRue MBT2 dropped right in without needing any fitting. Haven't had a chance to take it for a spin yet, it passes function checks and it feels so much better than the original trigger pack. Really looking forward to roller locked goodness paired with AR ergos. Update:

I'm looking for the most unbiased comparison between these two that I can find - I want empirical data or responsible well-sourced testimony.

2020年8月27日 · I have three larue rifles, these things shoot great. My DD rifle is like a Toyota. Shoots good nothing special it just works. My Giessele 11.5 edges out the DD in the accuracy but I haven’t got enough rounds through it yet to determine how reliable it is. Out of the three choices I usually find myself grabbing my lightweight larue rifle.

2020年5月8日 · So I know Larue was very happy with the LW50 barrels he sourced from them (Lothar Walther) in fact I have a build with an OBR blank that LW chambered for me and drilled the gas port. I would l not be surprised if the steel larue spec'd was very similar to LW50 which is a" super stainless" .
