Our History - McKee Foods
The McKee Foods story began in 1934 when O.D. McKee and his wife, Ruth (pictured above on the left), bought Jack's Cookie Company, a small bakery in Chattanooga, Tenn., and started baking small cakes.
Collegedale, Tennesse - McKee Foods
Chattanooga, located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range, was home to O.D. and Ruth McKee's earlier bakery before the business moved just over 20 miles to Collegedale. Downtown Chattanooga is a family-friendly tourist destination.

Gentry, Arkansas - McKee Foods
Built in 1982, the Gentry, Arkansas Manufacturing facility has helped McKee Foods serve the western United States and Mexico. The facility employs more than 1,500 people. The Gentry Plant is active in the community, supporting United Way and local schools through donations of time, money and products.
