Metric Ruler Recommendations : r/Metric - Reddit
Nov 17, 2020 · A while back I switched over to metric. I have plenty of rulers but everyone displays both metric and imperial, I am looking for a ruler that displays metric units only. Does anyone know where I can find a good quality metric ruler that I can get delivered to the U.S. I would prefer something metal, but I'm not too picky.

For the USGS version it is 1:24000 and 1:50000. Since 1:24000 is common printing scale used by certain USGS maps and derivatives there off.

Easy, it is a scale metric ruler, I have one with 1:1, 1:2, 1:5, 1:10, it's double sided, used it for all my scaled drawings to reduce the size onto an A4 sheet of paper. The 1:5 scale reduces 200 mm down to 40 mm, or 80% reduction in size. Metric, not to hard. From Australia.

(Settings-->Distance units) set your fitness tracker to measure kilometers. Anywhere you have the choice, choose metric. It won't take long for you to begin to think in metric.

NIST (US Department of Commerce-Metric Programs Office), also has free rulers available as part of package of classroom teaching supplies.
