Can I leave my empty car parked in a Walmart parking lot all day?
One of them had a car that was abandoned and it was there for a month. The rims were stolen the car was broken into and the driver side window was smashed in. That car sat there for a month with pink slips all over it and Wal Mart finally towed it off. There is no way they would tow a car that sat there for one single day.

Other options are the PATH train from Newark, Hoboken, or Jersey City, not sure how much parking would be. Or there are various ferry's, I took one fairly recently from Union City/Weehawken and it was a rather painless experience.

2022年12月12日 · You can park for free in the city, but you will need to plan to move your car every day. Weekends are easier than weekdays. Alphabet City will be your best bet by NYU which has free parking and only needs to be moved during street cleaning (which is marked). Upper West Side is a decent backup (lots of parking, but a further from NYU).
