Rather than having multiple switch units I was considering a single multi switch unit. On the HK site there are a range of multi switch devices which use toggle switches in lieu of the hold style slider switches.

2014年1月27日 · a quick and dirty way to DIY one is to use the PCB from an RC servo to switch a relay. So instead of the PCB output going to the servo motor it will switch the relay open/closed. Be sure to match the relay to the 5v or so output from the servo driver PCB. The relay would open/close at the pulse width ends of around 900-2100us output from the RX.

The mechanical setup with a servo is still popular with the guys using magneto equipped engines. The optical on/off switch is handy in case something happens and you need to kill the engine remotely.

I don't think it will talk to a standard PWM ESC however, even for control purposes. My recollection is the same as Kallend's, i.e., if you use that port for a SRXL2 device you cannot then also use a SRXL2 remote on certain rxs.

2019年4月11日 · I would like to connect an on/off switch to my ESC, but after reading some of the other threads around here, I get the impression, that this cannot be done in a safe way, as the on/off switch only cuts the connection between the BEC and the receiver, while leaving the motor connected to the battery pack through the ESC.
