Southern African Customs Union | SACU predates modern trade and customs Agreements, and it remains the oldest functioning Customs Union. It was originally established by the British colonial power in the 1880s.

The Southern African Customs Union (SACU) is a customs union among five countries of Southern Africa: Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia and South Africa. Its headquarters are in the Namibian capital, Windhoek .

2023年3月11日 · SACU是Static AC Compensator Unit 的缩写，即静态交流补偿装置单元，通过对电力系统的电流、电压进行检测，对系统电流电压相位角度的控制和调节，以达到对电力系统谐波的补偿、电压和无功功率的稳定等功能。

2024年10月26日 · 南部非洲关税同盟 （英语： Southern African Customs Union，缩写SACU），简称南同盟，是由 博茨瓦纳 、 斯威士兰 、 莱索托 、 纳米比亚 及 南非 五个 南部非洲 国家共同成立的 关税同盟 。

欧洲自由贸易联盟 （efta，成员国冰岛、列支敦士登、挪威和瑞士）与南部非洲关税同盟（sacu）签订的自贸协定自2008年5月起实施。根据协定，efta将对来自sacu成员国的所有货物免关税，而sacu市场将在2014年前对efta产品逐步减免关税。
