2021年10月18日 · AC15 and a Deluxe Reverb sound great together. For shoegaze, a bunch of fuzz pedals, you're in the wrong sub (only half kidding). There's a lot you can do to upgrade an AC15, for pretty cheap. I have a bunch of NOS tubes, and the ones that sound best are 60's Sylvanias, which are actually really plentiful and cheap (I actually got mine for free).

2020年2月12日 · After a ton of research I ended up with the “Hotcake” by Crowther. It’s a hand made pedal made specifically with the AC15 in mind. The AC15 LOVES this overdrive. It has 2 different settings. At least the version I have does. Normal, and then flipping the internal switch accesses the “Blueberry” setting.

When I push the front end with a Spark Booster w/ the gain turned to 0, I get a pretty huge volume increase, way too much for any acceptable unity across the chain, and not enough thick smooth gain (as in: low sizzle factor).

Stay away from the CC models, too much mod work needed. If I were buying a budget AC15, I would go C1. It's a toneful amp at a low price.
