2017年9月23日 · I typically have a pretty high trajectory. The $-taper gave me a mid to high flight on full shots. Really helps me stick green. Northern Va has some pretty soft green for the most part so I can get a 5 iron to hit the green and roll out 6-8 feet. C-taper is definitely lower in flight and more roll out too. 2024年12月29日 · All- recently been fit into C Taper 130x and looking into used Iron sets. Can only find a few with the C Taper but there are plenty with the Px 6.5 and Dynamic Gold X100. I’ve hit all 3 in fittings and at home and much prefer the feel and stability of the stepless shafts vs the traditional DG stepped shafts.

2018年10月6日 · Taper tips are normally constant weight shafts - ie the 9-iron shaft weighs the same as the 3-iron shaft despite the difference in length. The flex progression or "slope" is pretty constant too, meaning it's a much easier task for club builders to make a set to spec and if the end user likes a swing weight matched set.

It seems like we have very similar swing parameters with regard to swing speed and tempo, although I do have a bit of a late release. My initial thoughts after switching: My initial reaction was how much softer the Modus felt relative to my first few swings with the $ taper.

2024年4月20日 · I have it next to a SS 1.0 Traxon to give you a comparison to the Reverse Taper (large size pistol grip). Yes, that SS grip is a bit sad looking but it's on my old Odyssey which is retired. The Large size is approximately the same diameter as the 1.0 and the same length but is a bit more contoured and a bit softer feel.

2020年4月16日 · I have been working with other Rapid Taper designs and the latest star is the Rapid Taper driver shaft. It took a ton of different variations of trimming to find a good balance of feel and performance. Like the iron shafts, it loads and releases in a truly pleasing type of way. Mis-hits do surprisingly well.
