2023年10月12日 · I got a .wua file, but cemu doesn’t seem to detect it. I also want to add mods to the game, and from what I understand I need it as a folder for that anyway, but everywhere I look I find people trying to convert folders to.wua, and that cemu can read those files. I have version 1.26.2f if that’s relevant, and my version won’t.

2023年4月16日 · no, but it resolved itself in a different way. I accidentally clicked the .wua section in the megathread github, and only after i posted this did i realise there's another section with the usual rom layout that works with modded hardware.

2022年5月30日 · The changelog says that "Updates and DLC no longer need to be installed", however Cemu can't seem to find my updates/dlc folders. When I go to Title Manager -> right-click -> convert to wua, it says "Update: Not Installed" and "DLC: Not Installed", which makes me think that they actually do need to be installed in order to be converted to wua.

2023年5月13日 · Yeah just two thing to keep in mind with wua. It’s condensed already so modding it is out of the question. You can use the graphics packs within CEMU but if you want to do more mods for BotW, it’s not possible with .wua. And you have to be running Cemu 2.0 or higher to run .wua if you aren’t already.

2020年8月22日 · We had something similar with dual scan, where a machine can talk to a WSUS and talk to Microsoft update. We put in a GPO to disable the dual scan functionality, namely by not allowing machines to go via the internet for anything update related and then we let SCCM agent do the rest.

2022年9月24日 · Thanks, that's where I have gotten the files, had followed a guide on how to set up BotW properly and the step after getting the files from Helper was to install the game on Cemu and convert to .wua there. Guess I'll skip that part and see if it works, thanks 👍

The .wua format in combination with not having to install DLC + Updates any longer is greatly appreciated, unpacked Wii games in particular consisted of so, so many files that it became untenable to keep the game folder unzipped on my cloud storage and just map the game folder to there as I do every other emulator, because that many small files makes Onedrive shit the bed when ...

This gives you a single with the .wua extension that contains all installed parts of that game that you can drop in your roms folder. Don't forget to clean up after because at this point you have three copies of the game. The original data files, the installed game, and the archive.
