I would not recommend trying any wii trim other than the OMGWTF or OM6 trim without having a complete understanding of how the Wii works. Leaving more on the board creates more problems. When you perform just minor trims, the voltage regulators will start to act wonky.

The main difference between the Innolux, and OG Gamepad screen is, the OG Gamepad screen is IPS and LVDS instead of TTL, whereas the Innolux display is not IPS, and is TTL.

Given the commercial failure of the Wii U, we assumed a substantial redesign was extremely unlikely. But, sure enough, this previously undocumented CPU-50 board has a much smaller SOC package.

The first build to ever FULLY utilize the OMEGA trim. The smallest functional Wii ever made, barely larger than the outline of the OMEGA trim itself. A literal keychain Wii!

Feb 21, 2023 · Stepping 12v down to 1v and 1.15v is an 11v difference, which can cause the regulators to run hot and possibly become damaged over time. Usually we recommend using 5v or 9v as a supply voltage to mitigate this point of failure. 3A of either is sufficient to run a Wii at full capacity. As for the port, you can leave it on the board if you want.
