He Zhao (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2020 and 2014, respectively. He was a Research Intern with Tencent, Shenzhen, China, in 2019. His research interests include medical image processing, deep learning, and computer vision.

I’m a machine learning researcher at CSIRO’s Data61. Before joining CSIRO, I obtained my PhD and worked as a research fellow at Monash University. I’m interested in probabilistic approaches that improve robustness, generalisation, uncertainty estimation, and interpretation of machine/deep learning.

My research aims to engineer the perovskite structure, investigate their photocatalytic properties and further understand the structure-activity relationships with advanced spectroscopic techniques.
