Now located at 2340 East Magnolia Ave, The Bottom stands as a space for building community, celebrating culture, & engaging the creativity of Black people through curated events, ongoing projects, shared resources and physical space.

LitKidz - The Bottom
One of the goals of The Bottom is to support a love for literature among young people. In January 2023, we started our LitKidz book program that provides one free book a month for kids ages 0-18. Participants' parents and/or guardians register them in the program and receive a punchcard that keeps track of when books are picked up.
Sewing Circle - The Bottom
She also started a Sew It Sell It clubs at Green Magnet and Inskip Elementary with the support of The Bottom. Sarah has coordinated two community quilts that were raffled to support the work of First Aid Collective Knoxville.
Pride Jam 2024 - The Bottom
