Aug 1, 2023 · Server Version#: Current Player Version#: 5.65.2 As stated above I’m getting absolutely no sound from AC3 5.1 audio using Audio Passthrough on my Xbox Series X. DTS and TrueHD audio play just fine as well as EAC3, but AC3 audio has no sound. Happy to provide a sample file if you guys don’t have one @Moussa thanks in advance!

The only ‘on’ value, though is ‘Automatic’, which I assume makes some intelligent determination as to whether passthrough can be used or not. Problem is, in my setup, it appears that AC3 audio is ALWAYS being transcoded to AAC.

Sep 17, 2024 · This is a client issue, it’s only needed on the client side. I don’t know about the HTPC version, I don’t use it. If you find an mpv.dll file in the folder, it will most likely work as well. Edit : I just installed the HTPC version, it has the mpv-2.dll file with it, I didn’t test it but replacing it with the right one will most likely fix it.
