Samyang (Buldak line, and others) Nissin Raoh. Maruchan Gold/Seiman. Some nice cheaper product lines/brands (I would place these about a step or so above Nissin's Top Ramen and Maruchan's Ramen Noodle Soup) include Indomie, Mama, Sapporo Ichiban (I especially love their yakisoba), and Nissin Demae.

Nissin Raoh is probably the best quality ramen that's somewhat widely available in the states. One of my western markets even stocks it, and most Asian markets do. However, Nissin Raoh is just plain noodles and broth (of good quality) - it's really meant to be dolled up with toppings. That may or may not be what you're looking for as a gift.

2020年10月20日 · Ramen is a wheat alkaline noodle. Udon is just wheat (and water and salt) The fresh ones tastes the best IMHO. There are dry or shelf stable ramen noodles, but they are hard to find (unless you have a japanese supermarket near you), and a bit over priced online.

Crunch up the noodle cake a little (inside the packet) and tip into the pan (but not the sachets) Cover noodles with boiling water (I like mine almost dry, not swimming in liquid) Add spice and veg packets and stir. Nongshim in general is great. Their Shin ramyun is one of the most popular soup noodles, and one of my personal favorites. I like Nongshim's other noodles too, I think their dried noodles are good quality and have a nice texture. Shin Gold is nice for a chicken soup ramen. Reply reply.

At the Tom Thumbs in Texas they have just the noodles on the shelves in the asian sections. They're straight like spaghetti noodles are. For the instant noodle packs, the Sapporo Ichiban ramen noodles seem the best to me for both flavor and texture but they'll run you $1 per package of ramen. You shouldn't throw the flavor packs away.
