Diborane - Wikipedia
The structure of diborane has D 2h symmetry. Four hydrides are terminal, while two bridge between the boron centers. The lengths of the B–H bridge bonds and the B–H terminal bonds are 1.33 and 1.19 Å respectively. This difference in bond lengths reflects the difference in their strengths, the B–H bridge bonds being relatively weaker.

Further support for the bridged structure of diborane came from its nuclear magnetic resonance spectra first reported in 1955 (Figs 2-4 and 2-5).7 Of the two naturally-occurring boron isotopes, the 11B nucleus has spin !, and the lOB nucleus has spin 3.
