2017年12月22日 · I bought a couple of Esstac shotgun cards for my 870. I used mineral spirits to clean up the side of the receiver and, after it dried, stuck the Esstac supplied velcro to the receiver. It was fine for a while, but then it started to curl and tear off with a card installed on it while in storage.

2019年7月21日 · I don't recall the price, but compare that to Esstac or just buy it from Esstac. It appears to be identical to the 3M velcro I bought and it works great. Definitely de-grease the receiver. I used Acetone. As mentioned previously, let the Velcro adhesive sit probably overnight before you try ripping off the shot card.

I think I'll measure the side of the 870, and make a template with cut-outs for the Trigger group pins and the serial number, so they are observable and serviceable, and then apply the industrial Velcro once I buy one each of the max practical size from 3 Gun Gear and Esstac, and then evaluate.

2011年10月19日 · Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some velcro on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch.

2013年3月29日 · I'm sure there are many more, but these are the most frequently mentioned. A note about Maxpeditions velco-backed card (not listed above). It is 3 inches wide and most receivers will only fit a 2 inch card, so they will not work to attach on the receiver. I chose the Esstac based on cost ($15/card), 7 rounds of extra ammo and recommendations.

2022年11月22日 · The problem is my Mesa Tactical carrier doesn't hold shells all that well. If I jiggle the shotgun, shells slip. It came with two rubber tubes if I recall correctly. One is said to work better in the cold and the other works better when it's warm. I put a Esstac card on my Remington 870 and it's 100% reliable.
