2012年7月29日 · My T8 has much better throttle control than the Honda BF8 did. The Honda throttle seemed to be a very coarse adustment, making it difficult to get the RPM you wanted -- unless a TR1 was installed on it. A little movement of the handle would make a big difference.

2006年12月16日 · The important thing about the Yamaha is the 3:1 reduction gear transmission, that develops the high torque for the 11 3/4" prop. I think the Honda has a 2:1 gear, and a much smaller prop. Most sailboats need the slower turning, higher touque at the prop.
